Running Int' Fells: The Green Runners and Jasmin Paris

Join The Armitt, Running Int’ Fells and The Green Runners for a low-key, casual evening of conversation with Jasmin Paris (recent Barkley Marathon finisher) and other green runners.
There will be a social run first to break the ice before a panel discussion in the museum.
The format of the event is as follows:

• Meet at The Armitt at 4pm
• Take an hour long easy ‘grateful’ run with Jasmin around the local area
• Arrive back at The Armitt for 5:15pm with some refreshments
• Panel discussion with Jasmin followed by Q&A at 5:30pm

About Jasmin Paris
Jasmin Paris is a British fell runner who has been a national fell running champion and who has set records for the Bob Graham Round and the Ramsay Round. Recently, she became the first woman to successfully complete the Barkley Marathons. Jasmin has also won the 2016 Skyrunner World Series (Sky Extreme) and a bronze medal at the 2016 Skyrunning World Championships (Sky Ultra). She received significant media attention for her overall win in the 2019 Spine Race.
Beyond her extraordinary athletic prowess, Paris is also a passionate advocate for environmental conservation and sustainability. As the co-founder of The Green Runners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting eco-friendly practices within the running community, she has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives to reduce carbon footprints, minimize waste, and protect natural habitats. Her tireless efforts to merge athleticism with environmental stewardship have inspired countless individuals to adopt more sustainable lifestyles and become conscientious stewards of the planet.
