KURT SCHWITTERS IN AMBLESIDE

A guided walking tour taking in the key locations associated with the artist Kurt Schwitters. Starting and ending at the Armitt Museum visit the locations where Schwitters lived, drank, painted, and was buried. Starting at 12.30pm at the Armitt a shorter walk will conclude at 1:30 pm with the full walk continuing to 2 pm. The walk ends at The Armitt to see Schwitters works and publications in the museum – as well as a book signing at Padgett’s sculpture of Schwitters. Participants are encouraged to bring packed lunch and appropriate clothes/shoes for walking – which will take place regardless of the weather. Tickets for the event includes entry into the museum.
