Wednesday Art Workshop

Claire will share lots of ideas for creating artwork by using patterns and designs from objects in the Armitt’s collection. Using acrylic paints and pastels, you can practice all sorts of ways to be artistic! Everyone will have a finished artwork by the end of the session to frame and take home!

What’s included:

• A 2 hour workshop run by an experienced artist
• All materials provided – please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint, pastel or charcoal on!
• At least one artwork piece to take home
• PLUS a chance to explore The Armitt museum!

More information:

• Workshops take place every Wednesday from 28 July-25 August.
• Sessions are at 10am-12pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm.
• £10 per child, £3 per accompanying adult – tickets must be booked in advance.
• Workshops are suitable for children aged 5-12 years old.
